Internship deux ; Christopher Raeburn

So , on the 22rd August I'm making my way down to London to start my internship with the eco-designer Christopher Raeburn. I went down for an interview in early July, and was so excited to start after I visited the Creative Arts heaven that is his studio in Hackney Wick.
The people there were so so nice when i met them and I'm so excited to experience the goings on of a fashion studio in the close run up to London Fashion Week 2010.

Just a short intro: Christopher Raeburn manufactures men and women's outerwear from recycled military stock, this means stylish outer jackets made from old military parachutes. His pieces are simply incredible , and even the short glimpse I got of his work in the studio when i went for my interview impressed me; so I'm prepared to be blown away when I work there for 10 days at the end of this month.

Now to find somewhere to stay, organise a train down and figure out what I can wear for ten days whilst packing light ; as I'll be staying at 4 different places including Kent,Hampshire,Essex and central London, so my bag needs to be tube-at 9am rush hour- friendly!!!!
Fantastic!

I'll keep posting on my blog to follow my experience down there!
